Over time, different artists and different types of work or production came into contact with each other: José Marques da Silva (1869-1947), Charles Siclis, Jacques Émile Ruhlmann, René Lalique, and Edgar Brandt designed the Serralves Villa in the 1930s; Jacques Gréber (1882-1962) designed the Serralves Park in the 1930s; Álvaro Siza (1933) designed the Serralves Museum, 1991; Richard Serra (1938-2024) installed the work Walking is Measurement, 2000, in the park; and Dan Graham (1942-2022) Double Exposure, 1994/2003; or, among many others, Rui Chafes (1966) exhibited Arrive without leaving, 2022.
